Mercedes-Benz is known for having some of the best-looking concept cars, but this one is a bit different from others as it is inspired by a musical instrument, hence its namesake, Mercedes-Benz Harp!
Designed by a transportation design student, the supercar concept takes inspiration from a Harp.
The concept car even features a musical instrument built into its exterior.

Mercedes-Benz Harp
Mercedes-Benz Harp concept car features a harp built into the exterior of the supercar.
While we have seen many futuristic concept cars, this one is certainly quite different from the rest.
What makes this even more interesting is that it was made by a transportation design student, ByeongIn Oh.
Although the Harp is not a real car, we saw a similar case where a bunch of students collaborated with Pagani to make a real-life concept car.
However, it might be too much to hope for a similar case here.
It seems the designer based the body of the car on the Mercedes AVTR concept car.
However, the final design added some asymmetrical windshield panels on the back and right side of the car.
These panels connect the harp strings to the top and right sides of the concept car.
The front of the car also looks reminiscent of the W196R Formula-1 racing car developed for the 1954 and 1955 seasons.
There’s also harp string on the front and back grill of the car.
Harp concept car interior
The interior of the concept car is also divided into two distinct sections.
A silent compartment for people who seek solitude and an open compartment for people who want to socialize.
The Mercedes-Benz Harp concept is a great take on a futuristic luxury car.
One of its most underrated features might be the contrasting color hues of matte silver and glossy black that make the car look so dashing.
