The ‘coolest car in the world’ has two bodyguards

The Mercedes Vision Gran Turismo has been labeled by Supercar Blondie – aka Alex Hirshi – ‘the coolest most unique most amazing car in the world’ – and the fact that it requires physical protection is the proof you need.

The exclusive one-of-a-kind hypercar is perhaps best known for being driven by Ben Affleck in Justice League, and this star turn is reflected in chief design officer, Gorden Wagener, customizing the car to be 10% bigger for Bruce Wayne’s Batsuit to fit.

And, on the subject of ‘bigger is better,’ the movie car also featured eight exhaust pipes, which are mirrored inside the car with eight air vents alongside advanced design elements, and an illuminated steering wheel.

Although the car doesn’t drive yet, it has powerful – yet fictional – specs to match, including a V8 biturbo with a 585 horsepower engine, meaning it’s essentially an AMG GT R under the hood.

With movie – and Mercedes – fans keen to get close to Batman’s ultimate hypercar, there’s no wonder that the minders are keeping a close eye on it.
