Businessman to get his Pagani Utopia painted with real moon dust

With the solar eclipse earlier this month and the lunar space race back in full swing, the moon is having a moment – so much so that this Indian-American businessman wants to paint his Pagani Utopia with moon dust.

Six years ago, Kris Singh, managing partner of a private investment company, wanted to get his Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar custom painted with Moon dust-infused color.

But, while sadly that wasn’t to be, due to Aston Martin not wanting to take on the unprecedented paint job, he now plans to forge ahead with his moon dust plan for his upcoming Pagani Utopia.

The special paint will be developed by Karosserie using finely ground Moon rock hot on the heels of the solar eclipse.

Singh had planned to have his Aston Martin Valkyrie finished in Karosserie Lunar Red, but it’s still unclear what the exact shade of the Pagani Utopia will be.

However, we’re sure it will be out of this world – in addition to its unusual tune when you power down.

In other news on car finishes, the Tesla Cybertruck was made available in three new shades recently.

They include a deep shade of blue, rose gold, and gray, changing the whole feel of the cult pickup.

The catch? You’ll add an extra $6,000-6,500 to your bill.

Customers can use the app to choose from the three lavish color wraps including ‘satin abyss blue’ for $6,500.

‘Slip gray’ and ‘satin rose gold’ can be yours for a fraction less at $6,000.

The Tesla website states that the new wraps are only available at four of the EV’s service centers in California.
