When we say the SSC Tuatara is quick, we mean it is QUICK.

The North-American car might just be the fastest car in the world, and when we tested it in 2019, it was set to take on that record.

The Tuatara has top speed of around 482 km/h (300mph), which definitely puts it right up there.

In fact, that’s even quicker than a Formula 1 car.

Weighing in at 1,347 kilograms (2,969 lbs), but producing 1,350 horsepower, it puts up some seriously impressive numbers.

After the video was filmed, Tuatara claimed their car as the fastest in the world, clocking in at 508.7 km/h (316 mph).

That claim was disputed, but other attempts have since been made.

Eventually the car clocked an official speed of 474 km/h (295 mph), you’d have to agree that it’s still pretty damn quick.
