With 1,2000hp for hill-climbing and oversized tires – this is a Mustang with a difference.

In fact, as well as combining off-road prowess with muscle-car power, it also has a different name.

Introducing: the ‘MUDstang’.

The modified Mustang aesthetic

This is an unconventional and extreme performance modification made by Unseen Builds.

Both rugged and powerful – it’s the best of the off-roading and muscle-car worlds.

Its off-roading tires appear comically oversized, extending beyond the stock fenders via extended axles.

The jarring thing – and a deliberate design choice by its creator – is that, despite its monster tires, its low-slung height remains unaltered.

Retaining the original chassis and body over the chassis of a truck is what truly sets the MUDstang apart.

It preserves the Mustang’s classic lines while its character is distinctly changed.

On that note, the Ford Mustang Mach-E has broken the world record for the longest EV journey completed on a single charge.

The car traveled 916.74km (569.64 miles) on a single charge.

It smashed the previous record of 907.62km (563.97 miles) set in Hangzhou, China.

Under the hood

With its original gen 2 Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine still intact, the MUDstang features performance-enhancing twin 67mm turbos.

It’s this modification that gives the horsepower and hill-climbing giddy up, boosting it to 1,200.

It’s possible that the switch-up also increases low-end torque, which is just what you need for muddy off-roading adventures.

To demonstrate its unique abilities and the journey it’s been on, its owner pitted it against a regular Mustang GT in a must-see.

Predictably, the muddy hill climb saw the MUDstang outperform its off-the-production-line counterpart.

In similar news, the 1977 Lamborghini Cheetah was an off-road dream car that almost came true until it faced several legal and design issues.

This man, similarly, constructed his own off-road Cybertruck from scratch.
