This wooden 6×6 Rolls-Royce Phantom drives like a $450,000 luxury car

Remember the Rolls-Royce Phantom that was turned into a 6×6 off-roading beast? 

Well, one incredibly talented man has now made another one. 

But this one’s made entirely out of wood.

The Vietnamese man behind the build, Dao Truong Van, told supercarblondie.com he dedicated 120 days to building the wooden 6×6 Rolls-Royce Phantom from scratch. 

And he did it all as a gift for his young car-obsessed son.

Mr Dao said he spent a total of USD $15,000 to create the car, and it shows because the wooden car is almost an exact replica of the original 6×6.

You’ll find the same massive grille that adorns the Phantom, the badges and even the Spirit of Ecstasy carved to perfection. 

You’ll also notice it has the front bumper bar, dominating roof rack, huge LED bar, tow hitch, and extra wheels that were added to the 6×6.

6×6 Rolls-Royce Phantom

The 6×6 Rolls-Royce Phantom was created by an artist called Alexandre Danton. 

He hacked a $450,000 Phantom apart and extended it to make it 6.3 meters in length and 2.3 meters wide. 

Not only was the car made longer and wider, but it was also given a full makeover.

Along with the LED bar, roof rack, front bumper bar and tow hitch, it also has 24-inch wheels and massive side skirts adding to the off-road DNA of the car.

Danton also made the headlights yellow, giving the matte black car a unique panther-like appearance. 

And adding to the aggressive look, the whole front grille has been blacked out. 

Alexandre Danton told Supercar Blondie the body fenders at the front and back were completely custom made, shaped by hand using bare sheets of aluminum. 

This car doesn’t just look like a beast, the creator also added practical extras for off-roading. 

When you open the boot you have a gas canister for long trips and anti-skid tracks in case you get stuck while taking your Rolls Royce off-roading. 

The interior is just as cool too.

Inside, there is bright orange leather everywhere.

There is also crocodile leather on the steering wheel and snake leather on the center console.

Under the hood is a standard Phantom engine covered in not-so-standard gold leaf.

The creation took Danton three months to build but a year to map out. 

The French artist hopes to sell the 6×6 Phantom for 5 million euros.
