A world explorer has given his viewers an inside look at the flight deck of the Virgin Atlantic 787-9 Dreamliner.

Johnny, host of YouTube channel Upgraded Travels, flew around the world in five days on nine flights.

This took him to eight different countries, including the UAE, France, the UK, and the USA.

On his final flight, from London Heathrow to San Francisco, he flew on Virgin Atlantic VS19 on board their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Inside the Virgin Atlantic 787-9 Dreamliner

Before boarding his flight, Johnny spent some time in the ultra-exclusive Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.

In this airport lounge, flyers are free to enjoy an outdoor plane spotting area, a pool table, and a canteen awash with drinks and food.

After getting on the plane, Johnny showed viewers what his seating arrangement looked like.

A standard passenger plane would have flyers seated in threes facing the front.

However, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner does things a little differently.

The upper class is also arranged in a one-on-one configuration, meaning each person is on their own row.

Every seat also faces the aisle, giving the chairs a diagonal slant.

Flyers are treated to some chips, drinks, as well as a pull-out IFE screen.

Tray tables are included, but aren’t the standard ones you would pull down from the back of the seat in front of you.

These have to be activated by a button, which releases them from the wall.

It’s safe to say that you won’t be struggling for room with these tables as they are of a very generous size.

Truly a first-class experience.

Passengers are also gifted with a goodie bag, containing some mini moisturizers, a sleeping mask, and a bamboo toothbrush.

Johnny also tucked into some salmon as his on-flight meal, followed up by a classically British afternoon tea with jam and scones.

Once the plane landed, Johnny was given the opportunity to visit the flight deck itself.

It’s no wonder he called this flight a ‘trip of a lifetime’.

All in all, the Dreamliner looks very fancy – an ideal way to cross the Atlantic Ocean and the continental United States.
