A Russian garage has built a street-legal Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept car because Mercedes won’t.

The Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept car was first unveiled back in 2017.

The car was also unique as it was a 19-foot-long luxury convertible car with a cool design.

The Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet already had a very unique design as it was over six meters long, hence the name.

According to the automaker, the concept car was just a design study.

However, a garage in Russia has managed to bring it to life by creating a replica.

Fueled by blood, sweat, tears, and presumably Vodka, the talented individuals created a gorgeous replica of the concept car.

One look at the car and the results speak for themselves.

The Maybach 6 Cabriolet was meant to be a reimagining of a Mercedes SLS roadster.

However, the automaker didn’t follow through with the direction envisioned in the concept car.

So someone else stepped up and made their own Maybach 6 Cabriolet.

To create a replica they used a R230-gen Mercedes-Benz SL500.

It’s not the first time we have seen someone use the SL500 Roadster as a base to build a new supercar.

Just recently, we saw another project like this that converted an old Honda Civic into a Lamborghini Aventador replica.

However, unlike other garage projects, the base Mercedes roadster had its bodywork fully stripped away.

They then used 3D scanning for the dramatic overhaul, which provided the right scale for the bodywork.

The original Maybach 6 Cabriolet featured a 750 hp electric motor.

But the replica is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine with earlier iterations providing 302hp and later versions giving 383 hp.

You might be able to see the concept car replica driving somewhere on the road in Russia if you are lucky.
