Michael Jackson’s car collection was strange, but one vehicle was easily the weirdest

When he passed away in 2009, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, left a huge car collection behind him.

And including the controversy that swirled following his demise he also left debts that required the auctioning of a number of his vehicles.

Kept out of the public eye until the auction, some will truly leave you scratching your head.

The automobiles he used on his bizarre Neverland Ranch, which has sadly now been left to rot, included a horse-drawn carriage, a fire truck, and – of course – a Peter Pan golf cart.

While not out of place on a large estate, it’s the customizations on this particular black golf cart that Michael Jackson used to get from the train station to the Ferris wheel and everywhere in between that make it so strange.

Another fan of seeing his own face in his car – and not because of the shine – is Snoop Dogg.

He has a 1968 Buick Riviera and the second-generation car is longer, wider, and 200lb heavier than the original.

The car has pink wheels and features in Snoop’s music video for ‘Vato’.

A decal on the hood shows a picture of Snoop alongside his wife and infant daughter.

It’s emblazoned with the words: “Me and my girls” and “Dogg’s Angels”.

Back to Michael Jackson’s gaudy cart, it sold as part of a huge auction of the late singer’s estate in 2009.

The lot also included a pair of Michael Jackson’s Triumph-era rhinestone socks and an orange spandex glove covered with orange Swarovski Loch Rosen crystals.

The cart remarkably fetched between $4,000 and $6,000, per The Guardian.

While weird, this wasn’t the Bad singer’s most opulent ride.

Michael Jackson’s most luxurious car was a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph plated with the purest form of gold.
