Mind-blowing speed of the airplane during take-off
An aircraft weighs thousands of pounds and carries hundreds of passengers, so it needs a lot of power and a good run to lift off.
The video, uploaded by a Reddit user, shows the speed recorded using an app on their phone.
The speed starts from 0 and gradually reaches 373 km/h as the plane takes off. Isn’t that incredible?
To put it in perspective, 373 km/h is what some of the fastest sports cars can achieve.
Comparing the flight’s speed to supercars
The Porsche 918 Spyder has a top speed of around 345 km/h, the Ferrari LaFerrari reaches around 350 km/h, and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ runs at about 370 km/h.
Seeing a plane outpacing these supercars is something to think about.
Of course, there are cars that can exceed 400 km/h, but watching a plane, which is much heavier, reach such speeds on the ground is astonishing.
It can certainly be like comparing apples to oranges, but that’s what it is.
