Rihanna has supposedly been paid an exorbitant amount to perform at the pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani​​.

From the looks of it, Mukesh Ambani’s son’s pre-wedding bash is something straight out of the movie, Crazy Rich Asians.

Asia’s richest man dug deep into his pockets to get the pop star out of semi-retirement after her recent pregnancy.

The family man is famed for recently gifting his wife a luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge worth $1.33 million.

He also owns the most expensive private home in the world.

Rihanna was supposedly paid $6.3 million to perform at the pre-wedding celebration.

The pre-wedding bash also held the stereotype of a big fat Indian wedding by being grand and massive in scale.

The performance was just one part of the lavish festivities taking place at the event.

The pre-wedding bash was a three-day event at a hotel in the western city of Jamnagar and cost a total of $152 million. 

There could be even bigger celebrations when the actual wedding takes place in July.

Rihanna was seen performing her hit songs alongside a lavish display of dancers and lights.

The Grammy-winning pop star performed a total of 19 songs during her 90-minute set.

Mukesh Ambani also paid Beyonce a reported $4 million to perform at his daughter Isha’s pre-wedding celebrations in 2018.  

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash was also attended by many high-profile celebrities and businessmen.

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, fellow Indian billionaires, many cricketers, and Bollywood film stars, were among the 1200 guests that attended the event.

The $152 million pre-wedding celebration did not make too much of a dent in Mukesh Ambani’s wealth.

The man is worth $117.5 billion, which he amassed through his Reliance Industries empire.

Despite being semi-retired, Rihanna is not short on money – being one of America’s richest women.
