A YouTuber and car collector bought Snoop Dogg’s Cadillac Deville Convertible, the one that the rapper used for a show nearly 20 years ago.

Snoop Dogg’s Cadillac was not in great condition when he bought it, but it wasn’t totally destroyed, either.

But what really surprised the new owner was what he found inside, because the interior is a mess.

Sam, owner of Hard Up Garage, is a lifelong fan of both this car and Snoop Dogg, so when he had the chance to buy it, he just went for it.

It’s a 1966 Cadillac Deville Convertible, which comes with all the features you’d expect from a 1960s American classic owned by a music god from the 1990s and 2000s.

Snoop Dogg drove this car on stage, literally, for the 2007 MTV Music Awards, and the car eventually ended up in London, the London Motor Museum to be exact, which is where Sam found it.

The exterior of the car was fine, apart from the weird hood decal that vaguely resembles the German flag, but the interior tells a different story.

It’s so messy and dirty that it’s difficult to even fathom what happened to it.

This probably explains why this car is no longer part of Snoop’s car collection.

The story behind Snoop Dogg’s Cadillac

Legend has it Snoop Dogg was first offered a different car for the show.

MTV got in touch with him and told him he was to drive a Mercedes on stage, at which point Snoop replied with a more… colorful version of ‘no way, Jose’ and told MTV he wasn’t going to do it unless he could do it with a GTA-style lowrider.

So MTV acquired a 1966 Cadillac Deville Convertible, had it delivered to Snoop, who signed the armrest and used it for the show.

For whatever reason, no one has cleaned the interior since, which is why today it is in such dire conditions.

Where is Snoop Dogg now?

After briefly branching out into reggae under the pseudonym ‘Snoop Lion’, Snoop Dogg went back to making rap and R&B music.

His nineteenth studio album, BODR, was released in 2022, which also led to the Super Bowl LVI performance alongside fellow rapper and fellow Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT owner Eminem.

His upcoming twentieth studio album, Missionary, is set to be released either this or next year.

Just don’t ask him about Spotify earnings, though, because apparently, they’re nowhere near as good as we thought.
