CES 2024 in Las Vegas just saw Sony blur the lines between gaming and real-life driving.

Sony Honda Mobility president and COO, Izumi Kawanishi, drove the company’s Afeela EV on stage remotely.

And he used a PlayStation 5 controller to do it – specifically the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.

The car’s yoke steering wheel turned without anyone sitting behind it.

Other vehicular innovation at CES 2024 included a stunning flying supercar.

While the executive stated that the demo was only for the show, it’s taking the idea of toy remote control cars and applying them to adult life.
