The SV Rover is a supercharged and massive off-road vehicle that can outperform the Bugatti Veyron.

Scarbo Vintage, a Southern California-based motorsport company asked a simple question: why can’t you have a Rover with both speed and power?

The result was the SV Rover, with a 1,100hp supercharged V8 (eight-speed automatic) engine.

It even comes in a 1,005hp electric alternative with a 75kWh battery.

The company claims that it is “the world’s first street-legal hypertruck”.

While Elon Musk might have something to say about that, it can’t be argued that the SV Rover packs a lot of power.

The hypertruck comes with an interchangeable two- and four-wheel drive layout.

It is also equipped with a pushrod front, Big Brembo brakes, 40-inch tires, and rear air suspension with 30 inches of free travel.

All of this makes the SV Rover pretty athletic and combines the nostalgia of classic British design with modern American muscle.

“The SV Rover represents a new extreme in terms of off-road power, maneuverability, and capability,” said Joe Scarbo, CEO of Scarbo Vintage.

“We are thrilled to unveil this revolutionary vehicle, which combines the nostalgia of classic British design with modern American muscle and technology to deliver a driving experience beyond anything this side of a trophy truck.”

In terms of looks, the SV Rover takes inspiration from the classic Land Rover Defender 90.

It features circular LED lamps out front and, on the rear end, huge flared wheel arches and thick underbody protection.

Even the body is clad entirely in carbonfibre and aluminium.

The interior, on the other hand, is a combination of modern technology and utilitarianism.

Once you enter the cockpit, you will notice a minimalist cabin with a 12.3in digital instrument cluster and 12.8in infotainment screen.

Unfortunately, there are only two seats, but a generous cargo area in the back.

The normal price of an SV Rover is $1.5 million, but Scarbo Vintage builds each vehicle to order.

Therefore the price of the vehicle may vary depending on the specific build and how customers want to spec their car.
