Watch as Range Rover gets destroyed going through a car wash

The owner of this Range Rover will be seriously mad.
What turned out to be a routine trip to the local car wash, ended up in catastrophe.
Rather than leaving with a clean car, they have been left with a hefty repair bill instead.

Before we get into what damage was caused, this is how the drama unfolded.
In the video, the black Range Rover can be seen inside the automatic car wash.
If you’ve ever been to one of these car washes, you’ll know that there’s usually some kind of indicator of where your car should be positioned.
Once in position, you then pop your car into neutral if it’s manual or park if it’s automatic.
At this point, it’s usually a good idea to close any open windows or slightly ajar doors, as well as turn off any automatic wipers.
This is where things take a turn for the worse for the owner of the Range Rover.
The video shows the system’s rollers moving their way along the roof of the vehicle.
At this point – and we’re entirely not sure how it happened – the SUV’s electronic tailgate opens.
The system’s rollers continue their way down the rear of the Range Rover, reaching the bumper before working their way back up again.
You can see what’s about to happen next, as the rollers give the car’s trunk a deep clean before hooking beneath the tailgate.
The force of the rollers then lifted the tailgate upwards causing it to fold over at the hinges.
Essentially, the rollers opened up the Range Rover like a tin of sardines.
As this is where the video ends, we’re not sure if any further damage occurs.
We just hope the machine realized something was wrong and shut off its power, preventing any further damage.
Next time, the Range Rover owner will probably just wash their car by hand at home.
