In today’s episode on unusual stays, Airbnb came up with something special — a Ferrari Museum Airbnb stay, where you can sleep peacefully.

If you’re a petrolhead, this might be a wonderful opportunity to visit Italy and sleep with Ferrari (ahem).

The online homestay platform included the museum in a newly launched category called ‘Icons.’

Properties listed as Icons are all iconic and tied to pop culture, celebrities, or just fun experiences.

For instance, it includes a floating house from the movie Up, which is tied to a crane and is floating in the air.

That’s quite amazing, right?

But if you have a fear of heights, you need not worry.

There is an insane amount of rental properties on the platform inspired by famous movies and celebrities.

Like the Paris Art Museum’s clock room, an X-Men-inspired X-Mansion in New York, or an experience stay with TikTik star Khaby Lame.

Oh, and there’s also a Doja Cat living room performance if you’re into that.

But why are such places becoming homestays?

It’s not the first time we’ve seen exceptional places turned into an Airbnb.

These are only the first 11 experiences the homestay company unveiled for 2024.

“Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination – until now,” Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said in a statement.

But if you’re into cars, especially supercars, and especially Ferrari – the Ferrari Museum Airbnb sounds like a great experience.

The Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy, is certainly a beautiful place to visit, and what could be better than staying there for a night?

The listing page describes that you will be able to lay comfortably on a plush bed crafted from the same leather as the seats in a Ferrari.

Now, that’s what you’d expect from a true Ferrari homestay.

Further, you can also take part in a race on a real track with the Scuderia Ferrari ambassador Marc Gené.

If you want more, you also get VIP tickets for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

The idea seems great in theory, but in the end, only randomly selected customers — about 4,000 of them — will be able to book the homestay per year.

Why is that, you ask?

While the cost will be less than $100 per person for a night, the platform will selectively select a limited number of people via a lucky draw.

If your luck takes you to a night at the Ferrari Museum Airbnb, don’t miss it.
